WebDeux Connect (aka #W2C), one of France’s largest and most renowned French-language tech conferences brings its 7th edition to Paris which promises to be bigger and bolder than ever. Last year W2C saw over 600 tech and internet enthusiasts join to discover and debate the latest trends, ideas and happenings in the tech sector. This year, the organizers are expecting over 1000 attendees who will have the chance to participate in 8 conferences, 11 workshops, 3 animated networking sessions, and lots more.
This year’s conference will kick-off with one of France’s hottest tech names at the moment (for obvious reasons), Criteo co-founder Romain Niccoli who will discuss a subject that has been top of the agenda for an increasing number of startups and PMEs in France, namely how French internet companies succeed on an international level. There’s also several other pertinent themes including, Will the Bitcoin replace the euro and the dollar, How to develop your project 100X faster through Crowdsourcing, Transport, Web and Open Data, How to finance your project and raise funds in 2013, and many more. Of course, W2C wouldn’t be complete without their startup competition, which awards a total of 7 prizes to best and brightest startups from the French-speaking world.
