Speaking of business opportunities in Europe, The European American Entreprise Council is organizing the first edition of USAWeek Europe, a must go to event to be held at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Spain from November 11 to 14. The California-based Council is run by leading executives and advisors with a broad experience and know how as serial entrepreneurs, business angels, heads of venture capital firms, and/or VP level executives. EAEC specializes in maintaining a first-class network of relevant contacts in the areas of technology, infrastructure (civil works, transport, railroad, electric), aerospace and energy in the United States and Europe, both privately and at public regulatory entities and authorities level, actively promoting and supporting Cross-Atlantic cooperation, collaboration and business between European and American companies, institutions and economic regions while fostering Innovation, International Trade and Entrepreneurship.

USAweek - The conferenceThe USAWeek is all about business providing business matchmaking, exhibition space, roundtables, social events and cultural related activities. Moreover, an investor panel will include firms like Softbank Capital, Rand Capital, K5 Launch, The McLean Group, Maverick Angels or Global Energy Capital attending business meetings to probe the activity and conduct meetings with European companies that are seeking both seed capital (in the
case of start-ups, especially in technology), funding for large projects (primarily energy and aerospace), or venture capital investment to boost growth.

According to the director of USAWeek Europe, German Loperena, “U.S. investors are not only interested in the technology start-ups, but also in leading European companies in their respective sectors, as shown by the investment of Bill Gates in FCC or the increased investment in Europe of large companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Cisco Systems or IBM. ”
