SNJV, France’s videogame trade association, is bringing back their annual Webgame Conference to Paris on June 5th. This year will mark the 5th edition of the conference which will take place during Future en Seine and will be held at the headquarters of their event partner, Google. Other key players in the games sector, namely Facebook and Oink, leading provider of innovative safe youth payments technology, have joined as event sponsors as well.
While the full program is still in the works, this year’s event looks to be taking more of any international direction that previous editions. For example, early confirmed speakers include Joe Robins from UK-based game development ecosystem Unity, game developer veteran (LucasArts, Dreamworks Interactive) and Google Chief Game Designer Noah Falstein and CEO of leading Latin American publisher AXESO5 Cristian Schweizer. Program looks particularly pertinent for game developers and publishers alike, including talks such as Why and How to Design a Premium Game in 2014, Unity Update, and How to Make Money with Games in Latin America.
If you’d like to attend, you can get your tickets here which are a very affordable 100€.
