ICT Spring Europe, one of Europe’s longest running and largest tech events, will be kicking off on July 3rd at the new Conference Center Kirchberg in Luxembourg. This year’s event will take a finance oriented turn, titled “INNOVATING THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE; FinTech: disrupt or be disrupted”. As such, it will explore the innovative business models, cutting edge technology and pioneering customer channels that are transforming the FinTech sector by taking new financial services directly to consumers. Not surprisingly, some of the most pertinent topics at the moment in FinTech such as payments, what the role is and should be of banks in this changing landscape, and using big data and analytics to improve the customer experience.
Although much of the discussion will take place in the main conference room, another important aspect of ICT Spring Europe is their master class track. They already have a range of subjects to choose from including, how to boost mobile revenues, ‘what type of cloud are you’, how to use agile analytics to drive customer growth, the role of trust in the digital future and augmented reality. However, there still are some open slots for workshops, so if you’d like to pitch an idea, you can still do so here.
Finally, another key part of the event is the awarding of 3 European ICT Awards – European CIO of the Year, European ICT Innovation of the Year, and European Startup of the Year. Incidentally, last year’s winner was French startup Uplike and a couple years prior another french startup, BIME. The winners will be recognized at a gala dinner on the first night of the event.
