The wearable market has seen several of new devices on the market in recent months, particularly the connected watches. While iWatch has certainly been the most heralded, Withings also made a big splash with their state-of-the art connected watch Activité which launched this fall. Now a new entrant the Névo, which is result of a Lille-based company, is set to launch in early 2015.
Headquartered in Lille, with offices in Hong Kong and California, the company behind Névo is actually a joint venture between iMaze, a leading French brand in Fitness and sport wearable devices and EMIE, a creative brand of consumer electronics lifestyle products. Névo looks to be the first of many wearable devices the company plans to launch.
Like Activite, Névo seeks to deliver both luxury design and top technology in an analogue-style smartwatch. Activity tracking, via their Névo platform, will obviously be at the core of Névo, although discreetly ‘hidden’ behind a premium stainless steel and leather finish modern analog design. Névo enables wearers to vizualize heir progress via revolutionary bright white LED progress indicators. It also enables seamless syncing of data easily with phone apps and the cloud so wearers can record and analyze their activities, goals, and success.
