Paris Founders Event is back! We’ll kick off 2015 with the Winter Edition on January 19th at Le Palais Brongniart, will gathered entrepreneurs, investors, journalist and startup lovers – more than 600 people – for France’s biggest startup meetup.
We’re busy interviewing finalists to select the 5 products that will be revealed on stage, but we’re proud to introduce you a few of the founders that we’ll be interviewing on stage:
Florian Douetteau – Founder & CEO at Dataiku
Florian works in the “data” field since 01’, back when it was not big, yet. He worked in successful startups in search engine, advertising and gaming industries, holding various data or CTO’s role. He started Dataiku in 2013, his first venture as a CEO, with the goal of alleviating the daily pains from the data enthusiasts and let them express their creativity.
Ilan Abehassera – Co-Founder and CEO at Insensi
Ilan is an Entrepreneur based in NYC since 2004 where he lives with his wife and three kids.His first company Producteev (a popular task management solution) got acquired by Jive Software in November 2012, based in Palo Alto, where he worked until July 2014. He’s now Founder and CEO of Insensi, a hardware startup building a new device for the Home. Ilan is also a Business Angel in about 20 startups (Sunrise, Wit.ai, Checkr.io, Algolia, Circa,…).
Thimothee Jobert – Co-Founder and COO at iSketchnote
Iskn was founded by a multidisciplinary team specialized in electronic engineering and user experience design. The iskn story debuted on crowdfunding site Kickstarter with the iSketchnote project. From September to October 2013, 2395 backers pledged a total of $346,127 – nearly ten times the initial goal of $35,000.
Iskn’s mission is to combine the natural experience of tangible tools with the power of digital technology.
Alexandre Winter – CEO & Co-founder, Placemeter
Born and raised in France, and proud Brooklynite today, Alex, CEO and founder of Placemeter, is both a computer vision geek and a repeat entrepreneur. Before starting Placemeter, Alex co-founded VC-backed image search platform LTU Technologies. LTU was successfully acquired by a Japanese public company. He has a PhD in Image Recognition, holds 7 patents in the field, and has over 20 years of computer vision expertise in applications ranging from satellite reconnaissance to augmented reality.
