B Dash Camp is a summit which brings together tech leaders and startups from inside and outside the Japan to springboard their businesses globally with sessions, lectures and networking with both local and international company founders and executives.
The event is organized around valuable keynotes, a pitch arena and startups booths.
Attendance is limited to key industry people and startup founder to enable higher quality networking discussion. Last edition speakers line up included Manabu Miyasaka, CEO of Yahoo! Japan, Takeshi Idezawa, CEO of LINE, Satoru Iwata, recently lost President of Nintendo and many more tech leaders.
Startups like PopUp Immo, QuantCube, Feeligo, TrustSeed, DynAdmic, Recipay and LaBelleAssiette saw the great potential of the Asian market and didn’t miss out on the opportunity to participate to last B Dash Camp in Fukuoka. PopUp Immo was the only European startup among the finalists of April’s Pitch Arena.
Earlier this week we spoke with PopUp Immo founder, Mohamed Houache, to talk about his experience at B Dash Camp. He told us: “ B Dash Camp allowed us to fill the opportunity in Asia. It changed my view and vision about Asia and gave me tips, contacts and solutions to enter the asian market. The highlight of my experience was when they announced we were the only european startup to pitch on stage. There were so many high-profile startups, we felt it was a privilege to be able to pitch. The quality of the startups participating was outstanding! PopUp Immo became famous overnight in Japan as the airbnb of retailing, just after pitching. The event was a great cultural exchange.”
If you are thinking about expanding in Asia, or you just want to live a great and very different experience, you should definitely apply for the upcoming B Dash Camp. Click here to apply for the Pitch Arena, application deadline is today! Hurry up!
