French start-up VProject just raised € 591K to fund the growth of Mr Gabriel, the first security application designed specifically for Apple Watch.
For those of you who weren’t at Paris Founders Event the past April, Mr Gabriel is the first security application designed specifically for Apple Watch. Using the data from the sensors connected watches and smartphones and combining it with machine learning in real time, the application can identify emergency situations such as accidents or attacks.
The company aims to save lives using the power of wearables and data in real time.
With this round of investment led by European Investment Fund , Tikehau Capital Group, Mr Gabriel will be focusing on hiring new top developers in order to improve machine-learning in real time and on creating targeted partnership in France and abroad.
“We seek to make the smartest application, which will allow us to grow internationally, especially in the United States and Latin America,” says the founder Virginie Gretz.
Virginie Gretz relies on strategic partnerships with telecare companies, local security companies and insurance companies or telecom companies to distribute Mr Gabriel in Europe and abroad.
We are always happy to receive great news from all the startups that launched at #ParisFounders, and we can’t wait to see Mr Gabriel race to the top!
