Talent recruitment tool Hired.com has acquired Paris-based Breaz.io, which launched its similar solution back in 2014, quickly gaining steam as an alternativeto recruitment firms for fast-growing technology companies. Their auction-house model imitated Hired.com, which makes the acquisition very similar to that of Joliebox by Birchbox in 2012.
The Breaz.io team will continue to operate here in Paris as the second European office of Hired.com (after launching in London last year), and it seems that breaz.io will be replaced by Hired.com over the coming months.
Models for acquiring talent are changing rapidly, and, while tech companies manage to stay ahead of this curve, larger companies who are still making their transition to digital are going to be hard-pressed to stay relevant in a world where everyone is competing for top talent. We will be exploring Top Talent Acquisition at our 2nd edition of HIRE Conference on March 18th, as part of HIRE, our 2-day recruitment event which also include a full-day HIRE Fair where 5,000 candidates will come meet 100+ recruiters.
This year, Breaz.io (or should I say, Hired.com) is our official sponsor, underscoring just how much digital & physical are converging: multinational companies & startups are recruiting side-by-side, both physically at HIRE Fair as well as online, via Hired.com & other platforms, constantly vying for the talent they need to stay relevant in a rapidly changing industry.
Join us on March 18-19th for the 6th edition of HIRE – recruiters can sign up for Hire Conference here & learn about opportunities to recruit at HIRE Fair. Candidates can sign up below.
