In the latest effort to make Paris the heart of Europe’s startup scene, Partech Shaker announced a new program today designed to help U.S.-based startups navigate the complex rules and regulations as they seek to expand into the continent.
Dubbed “Europe Made Easy,” the program will offer a network of contacts in human resources, legal, accounting and banking at the co-working and networking space created by Paris VC firm Partech Ventures in 2014. Those U.S. startups will also get to rub shoulders with a range of larger corporations and established tech companies who are partners at Partech Shaker.
“We are proud to leverage the ecosystem Partech Shaker has built to help foreign companies grow their business in Europe, starting with France,” Nicolas El Baze, general partner at Partech Ventures, said in a statement.
Partech originally created its Shaker space to offer temporary office space for early-stage startups looking to develop their products and build their networks. Over time, Shaker has attracted partners such as Dropbox, Pinterest, HotelTonight and Kartable, who are available to mentor the young entrepreneurs who land in the space.
With the new program, Shaker will also partner with HR networking firm Agelium, France’s BNP Paribas bank, international law firm Orrick, and Paris & Co. (the economic development and innovation agency of Paris and Business France.)
