Created in 2013 by Mathilde Collin (CEO) and Laurent Perrin (CTO) Parisian startup studio eFounders, Front is a SaaS tool designed to help teams manage external emails communication or group addresses (contact@, hello@, support@ etc.), and makes it easy to direct email inquiries to the appropriate responder.
Since its official launch at #ParisFounders almost three years ago, the company has moved to the Valley, graduated from YCombinator, and raised $3.1 Million in a seed round led by SoftTechVC.
Today, the company announces a $10M series A fundraising, after reaching the symbolic number of 1000 companies using Front daily, including clients such as Mailchimp, Docker, Hubspot, GoDaddy, General Assembly and even LVMH. The series A is led by Mamoon Hamid from Social Capital, an early investor of Slack or Box, and entrepreneurs such as Slack’s CEO Stewart Butterfield, Sunrise Co-Founder Pierre Valade, or Intercom’s CEO Eoghan McCabe.
This fundraising will allow the 16 collaborators startup to keep accelerating the development of its product.
Last month they released the third version of their app, available on web, mobile, Windows and Mac -with a completely redesigned interface and a improved user experience, to make business communications as conversational and smart as possible, whether it’s email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter or Live Chat.
